Hey guys!
One of the many specialties I'm looking into is Neurology. Amongst the subspecialties, it seems the one I am most interested in in neurophysiology. If I were to go into the field, I would like to see patients with possible neurological issues, examine them, and make a diagnosis. I do not want to do research or work academically. I was wondering if anyone had any insight into the practice. What kind of cases do you see? What is a typical day like? What do you like and dislike? What advice do you have for someone pursuing this field? Is it a competitive residency? Add any other information you think would be helpful.
Thank you everyone!
