Pregnant psychologist

Has anyone been pregnant while working with clients with severe psychopathology? If so, could you please share your experience? I was recently offered to interview at a residential treatment school. I hope to get pregnant next year so I wanted to hear from those of you who have worked with these patients and settings.

Hi. I was pregnant while working in an intensive outpatient program with a patient population that ranged from severe depression to bipolar. I often went to the inpatient unit as well. I did not have any difficulties or challenges. Most of the time the patients were more concerned with their own recovery than care about my pregnancy. Many of my patients also didn't know I was pregnant because I wore baggy clothes. Overall, my experience was positive. Best of luck!
