Hello! I am applying the Public Health Schools right now. Is it just as good if a school (ie Brown/Tufts) offers an accredited program in masters in public health but does not have a school of public health? Is there a large difference in the professional world if you graduated from a school vs a program?

A full school offers a much wider range of choice in concentrations, departments, class offerings, and research opportunities than a program because it is it's own autonomous school, not housed within another school.

If that's a big difference to you, then yes, there is. Professionally, there probably isn't a huge difference unless you plan on becoming a professor in public health, in which case it's advisable to go to a full SPH.
