A few programs briefly explain their specific personal statement prompt; but for those that do not, is it best to model the statement after a medical school statement (what sparked my interest in medicine, sharing my personal experiences in medicine etc.), or should there be added emphasis on why I want to enter a post-bacc program (explaining how I've grown/ changed since receiving poor grade)?
My instinct tells me that, for a program dedicated to enhancing low undergraduate GPAs, I should directly address why I need the GPA enhancement in the first place, but I've also read that doing so may backfire. I would just like to get a final answer.
