I wonder who would lend themselves for that? The problem with fellowships in anesthesia is that your salary is similar, if not identical, to anesthesia generalists. If they want people to do research, they have to provide for plenty of office time. Other academic specialties round for 2 hr a day and the rest of the day is spent in the office. Not the same scenario in anesthesia.
