I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Engineering with a GPA of 2.544, however, I want to become an Optometrist.

Right now I am taking the Pre-req courses at local community colleges. I know Optometry School is competitive, so my question is, with my current GPA, what are my chances of getting into Optometry School. (Assuming I finish my Pre-req courses with about a 3.8 GPA and decent OAT score).

I know there are a lot of factors to consider, but I guess my concern is my cumulitive GPA in Computer Engineering. Will admissions mostly look at my GPA for my Pre-req courses versus my courses for Computer Engineering?

Any advise/suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.
