I graduated 1 ½ year ahead of schedule and I'm currently working on my MS in Clinical Psychology. I started in the Spring of 2022 and will graduate in the Summer of 2023. The director of the school clinic is a CBIS. In the Practicum/Clinic course we spend time at the nursing home assessing and speaking with residents some of which have had strokes or even have Aphasia. We give diagnosis under the director's supervision. Would the provisional CBIS look good for medical school apps?

Also, I've been told that I can't count the nursing home hours as volunteering because it is for my practicum course so I was going to volunteer in my spare time. Could the nursing home hours count as volunteering (possibly) or clinical hours since they count towards the licensing of the CBIS or they just strictly count with the degree (I will be taking the EPPP to be a Licensed Psychological Associate)?

Right now I can't do much volunteering because my sport is in season and it will be next semester too. I'll be able do volunteering freely towards the end of this semester rather than earlier so I am just trying to see if the things I currently do count.
