PSA in Prostate Cancer

So MTB and uworld have conflicting information about whether PSA is done/offered to screen for prostate cancer. My questions is if the question does not detail the pt asking for PSA, what is the protocol? Is PSA offered? According to the American Cancer society the PSA test is discussed at 50 with pros and cons of the test followed by the pt making an informed decision afterwards. What is the right answer for the USMLE?
