I've seen plenty of docs with unattractice spouses, so I don't think it's the just MD title.
Maybe you should be attractive looking before you set out to look for an attractive trophy wife/husband.

There may be a correlation between being a doctor and having multiple "attractive" spouses. So you have to work until you die because you have lost so much money because of divorces...

I work at a doctors office and all 15 of the providers here met their spouse before entering medical school. Most during undergrad or high school sweethearts. Sooo there's that.
