For all those people who are on the quarter system, how much did your GPA increase or decrease when you converted your quarter units to semester units for your application?

Didn't seem to change at all. It went up a little bit cuz it merged my u-grad gpa with a couple of courses I had aced in a local cc, but the gpa from my major university stayed the same.

merges all your transcripts from all colleges you took classes in

Thanks for the responses.

Also I remember seeing a thread on here about how AMCAS rounds GPA's but I cant find it anymore

For EXAMPLE (im going to use unrealistic numbers for this example):

If you have a 4.443 Will that round up to a 4.45?

It really did not change at all! Why would it? The only change was that AMCAS only goes to two decimal places, so since I actually had a 3.898 Science GPA, AMCAS turned it into 3.9:D

+0.02

I'm not exactly sure why it might change, but just off the top of my head, the conversion ratio from semester to quarter might introduce enough rounding off that eventually affects your GPA.

One of my lab coworkers saw a -0.01 GPA change.

Needless to say, I wouldn't put much emphasis on it.
