Working at a new SNF in san diego and wanted some advice from my fellow DPTs. I have a few evaluations on LTC residents. They are nonverbal and demented, and I am picking them up PURELY for wheelchair positioning. Are there are functional tests I can use to fulfill the G-code functional limitation assessment requirements? Again, they are nonverbal and immobile.

Thanks!!!

Are they able to do any form of bed mobility? Maybe try the Optimal Instrument. It has a nice range from bed mobility to ability to maintain sitting to higher level things. And you can choose three tasks to focus on. We use it at our hospital and our hospital outpatient clinic for G-codes.

AM-PAC Mobility 6-Clicks.
