Who is in a residency program partnered with HCA? How do they treat residents? What specialties are you guys in, and where at? Do they fit ACGME duty hour regulations? Do they impinge on our learning or quality with the workload?

It doesn't matter who a residency program is affiliated with, if they are an ACGME program, they have to follow ACGME rules - including the hour regulations.

Yeah, "have" to.....any resident knows that programs highly vary to which the degree those are enforced, especially the "clinical duties getting in the way of learning" part. As for duty hours? depending on the program, many residents under report their hours to "fit" ACGME regulations, otherwise (a) we can't moonlight as much, (b) weare the ones who get blamed that we are overworked because it's OUR fault for poor time management skills, so their solution is to generally add MORE hours of online time management modules for training, and (c) most people with EMRs these days who do home charting, for hours a week, don't count those as work hours.

Your question makes no sense and has no relevance to resident education.
