Hi all, so I know that there is no biostat questions on day 2 for step 3 and there is CCS, what else is different?

For example, do they still ask ethic or what is the appropriate response type of questions on day 2 as well?

Thank you!

I don't recall any ethics questions on day 2. It was all about disease management. The only atypical and annoying questions were prognosis-related like "what's the biggest risk factor" among several appropriate risk factors. There were also a few that required knowing the best imaging modality.

Finally my day 2 exam is next week. CCS a lot more tricky and difficult than I thought.

The cases are basically all intern-level, so the medicine itself isn't super tough. Big things for not missing out on points:
-Know the software (i.e do the UWorld practice cases)
-Know when to put in emergent orders (CP, SOB, hemodynamic instability, AMS)
-If they're stable, do a full exam
-Treat their pain, fever, and nausea
-Do appropriate counseling at the end (smoking cessation, safe sex practices, etc.)
