I know that there has been some discussion about re-writing essays in previous threads, but most of it seems to center around the personal statement.
I am re-applying, and wrote a completely new personal statement. As I am starting to work on secondaries, I am reading over my old essays and I don't personally see the need to re-write most of them. Obviously if there is a new prompt I will re-write, and I am updating any specific questions about my activities over the past year and upcoming year.
But for a school-specific essay, or a question like "what is your best attribute?" I feel like I shouldn't need to change anything.
Any thoughts?
