Relationship between schizophrenia and excessive thirst/urination

Is it due to psychogenic polydipsia (ie. is this condition common in schizo) or lithium use (ie. i kno lithium is used for bipolar, but some websites say lithium can be used as adjunct for schizo)???

you'd have to do a water restriction test to find out.

You have to do the aforementioned test, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a little man telling him he needed to drink as much water as possible to pee out all the nasty poisons the men in white are giving him.
