Releasing your step II score

For those of you who took step 2CK late, when are you planning to release your scores? Do you need to release them prior to the rank list due date?

The question as written is far too vague it requires context.

If your Step I score is 200 and your Step IICK score is 260 then obviously you would release it. If the converse is true then you probably would not want to release it. Finally some programs require Step IICK scores prior to generating their rank list.

So the answer is . . . it depends.

thanks for the context gfunk. i honestly have no clue as to how this works actually. so i take that it's program dependent? i guess the right question would be phrased:

To my knowledge, there are few programs that require Step 2 prior to ranking. Feel free to correct me anyone who knows of one, there may be an exception or two I don't know about. I never released mine.
