Would it be more beneficial to do research and possibly get publications vs doing an extra away rotation at a program with a fellowship in the hopes of attaining a fellowship? Get 2 away rotation as is in my PGY-3 year but have a unique opportunity to do NIH research instead of using one of the two potential away elective.
