well if the 9 in every section is a requirement, then you really have no choice but to retake it. So yes, you should.

What were you averaging during your prep? If the 8 in VR was just a fluke, then maybe you should consider retaking. However, if not, keep in mind that VR takes longer to improve than other sections.
