Is PH3 (phosphate trihydride) a strong, weak or non electrolyte?
Anyone to answer gets a

non electrolyte

It doesn't dissociate well in water.

(I think)

i'd say non-electrolyte. the only non-metal electrolytes i can think of are the strong acids (HCl, etc.).

I am pretty sure that is an non-electrolyte. However, I am not totally positive. :)

It could be positive or negative, but that's only if you dissolve it in strong acids or bases. Water alone won't do it (well, there will be some ions, but it will not be the dominant form).

I'd be totally shocked if it was an electrolyte. For one you don't expect the hydride to come out into solution very easily and if it did then it would be extremely reactive.

Just as an update, I got my test back and I think she just threw out the question. I put weak and my friend put strong and were both given credit, so I don't know about the people who put non.
Anyways, here is their  for all who posted.
