Still waiting on GPA calculations from pharmcas. Going to submit the supplemental probably this weekend. Have little chance of getting in though![]()

Were you there on the Nov. 4th interview?
Congrats. How was the interview?
Yep! I was one of the two African American males that day. You?
I was sitting in Group 1 closer to the podium, I was the Indian girl haha. I dont actually remember seeing you
Will you be attending Roosevelt?
I think I know who you are, but so far yes I will be attending, but that depends on the status of the other schools that I still have to interview at. You?

Is there anyone still looking at this thread? I got an interview for Friday February 10th. Did anybody else get one?
Accepted, still deciding on which school to choose
I did!![]()
I have some questions if you don't mind answering:
1. How was the overall vibe of the interview?
2. Was there anything specific or out of the ordinary?
3. Was there a writing sample?
4. How many people were interviewing you and how many at a time?
5. What kind of questions were asked?
I would be eternally grateful if you can answer my questions. I don't know anything on how the school conducts their interview. Thank you very much!
Did you get one for Feb 10th? Or a different time? And where are you coming from?
1. Very relaxed
2. Nothing out of the ordinary, just make sure you research the changing role of the pharmacist and how the profession is changing
3. Writing sample was an article given to us and we have to write a response on it, whether or not we agree with it and why.
4. One faculty member interviewing us one at a time
5. Questions were pretty straightforward, why pharmacy/why Roosevelt etc
I got the Feb 10th one. I'll be coming from CA near Los Angeles...hope it's not too cold!
I am very grateful to you. I'm sorry but there are a couple of questions I forgot to ask you.
1. Was this a blind interview? Meaning that did the interviewer know nothing about you prior to the interview?
2. Were you asked any ethical questions?
Again, I would be very grateful if you would give your input.
It was closed file interview so they didn't have your info out and I didn't encounter any ethical questions.
I'll be declining my acceptance here so hopefully it will give someone else a chance. Good luck everyone
Let me guess, you're from the OC. I'm from Westminster. Wanna carpool or help each other save money in the process? If not, its totally understandable.
How long did it take any of you to receive an interview invitation after they received your application?
Without being a boasting prick, it took about a week and half. I submitted the PharmCAS and supplemental applications in early January. Here are my stats if you are interested.
Degree: BS: Cell and Developmental Biology
GPA: 3.29 (I like to think it's 3.3)
PCAT: ~50%
Volunteer Experience: Clinical Pharmacy ( 2006-2011)
EC: Vietnamese Student Association (2004-2009)
I'm not the best applicant, but I make it up in some areas. Hopefully, this helps you.
