School List Help - 3.6cgpa 3.55sgpa 30mcat

Hello Everyone!

I will be applying to medical schools this June and I would really appreciate any advice for my MD and DO school list, considering my stats and ECs:

3.6 cGPA
3.55 sGPA
30 MCAT

-Over 300 hours of clinical experience in a hospital (internship) with a leadership position within the internship program
-Tutored young children in a program for abused children (3.5 years)
-1 year total of research (2 different labs); Acknowledged in a paper that is about to be published
-On the rowing team for 2 years

I'm also a California resident. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much in advance.

Use the MSAR or a similar source to figure out which schools to apply to.

I had the same stats as you and received quite a few interview invitations but no MD acceptance (waitlists). My BIGGEST and most important advice I can give to you is to apply EARLY and submit your secondaries as soon as you get them. If I had been completed earlier, I feel I might have had a better shot at an MD acceptance.

Also, you should have a great shot at DO schools.
