One of the schools I'm applying to (Slippery Rock University) has "How is physical therapist care unique in healthcare?" as their essay, which is basically the same as the personal statement. How should I approach this? Should I write about different aspects of PT and not mention any overlaps whatsoever? There are some core points I talk about in my personal statement that I really do think make PT unique though...

There should be some overlap, but to answer the personal statement, you should be telling a story of an experience that confirmed PT for you. That should be the bulk of the main essay, so there should be a lot left over to add to your supplemental essay.
