I swear I saw a similar post here before (no idea how old the thread was) and made a mental note to save the page...but failed to do so. I've tried searching for it on my own, but my search skills have failed me. If there are multiple threads about this topic but I somehow utterly failed to find them, I apologize.

Basically, I've heard/read that there are schools that focus more on MCAT scores, not that my GPA's horrible, I just want to maximize my strengths. I know some people made a list of those schools. I don't know if that thread got deleted or something...

I'm not sure if they prefer one over the other but from what I've heard the Touros, CCOM, AZCOM, and I think Nova all love high MCATS.

In my opinion based on their average stats(I don't have them committed to memory) it seems to me the Touros will take the high MCAT/low gpa combo more often, while AZCOM and CCOM tend to have the mid-high gpa/high MCAT average, and I've just heard Novas name thrown around in regards to high mcats.

Hope this helps!

real MVP. I wonder if the few MCAT frontrunners will all crack 30 (508) by the decade's end.

Many of these are outdated. People need to start updating it, or use the one I've made below. I've even added links from each individual schools to source my information.

The list is outdated. There's a newer one here.

When my school had it's pre-professional school fair, the LECOM representative made it very, very clear that they care way more about GPA than MCAT scores.

I received attention from the Touro's and CCOM with a high MCAT/low GPA so I would second the above. I was not interviewed at the Westerns or PCOM.

n=1, however.

Yeah @mathnerd88 has the most accurate list of the DO school stats right now.

Just as an FYI the accepted stats for KCU has the 29.6 MCAT. That number dropped to 27ish probably because the high scoring applicants probably got accepted to an MD program or DO program that was more suited for them.

Let's see, off the top of my head:

my school
The coastal Touros

AZCOM

Huh, Touro CA and AZCOM cracking 30s with the updated data.

Touro CA broke it with the old data. AZCOM doesn't surprise me seeing as they are an MCAT *****. They lurve those high numbas.
But the DO train will not leave the station as long as there are new schools popping up left and right.

Yeah, new DO schools need to be put in check for fear of becoming like law and pharmacy schools...
