science/non-science lor?

Hi everyone!
I wanted to ask whether a professor for epidemiology would count as a science letter and whether anyone had experience with the unclear science/non-science LORs. There was a lot of statistics involved as well as research papers, if that helps any.

The definitive answer is: there isnt one

Some readers/adcoms at some schools may consider it science
Others may not.

It would likely pass as a science letter to fulfill the requirement, though be diminished in value to a percentage of readers
