Sending thank-you notes after interview

Hey guys, I had my first interview yesterday and I forgot to ask the interviewers for their business cards. However, their full names (just their names) were provided on the interview date. Do you guys think that it is a good idea to send them thank-you notes even though I didn't ask them for their business card. I was able to find their email address by visiting the school's website.
