I'm a Texas applicant and I'm only mainly interested in staying in-state, but if worst comes to worst, I would rather get in to a dental school than wait to re-apply next year for Texas schools. Should I take time to apply out of state?

sGPA: 3.93/4.00

A lot of volunteer hours and shadowing hours.

Yes you should apply to a few OOS just in case. But I would be shocked if you didnt get into a Texas school.

I will be shock if you didn't get in as well since your statistics are better than mine. Not saying I am confident, but I am average of all averages.

For reference, I still applied to two OOS schools: OU and Creighton.
