Should I keep my letter grade or opt for pass/fail

So due to covid-19 my uni is giving us the option to make any of our classes pass/fail. I ended with a C in gen chem 2 and honestly that's gonna mess up my gpa. I'm thinking of just making it a pass instead so that I am able to pull up my gpa but I'm scared that'll be an issue when I apply to med schools in the future. Any options would be appreciated!

Take it C because its a pre-req course. If it's C- I would take P.

oh boy. What about your other classes for that semester?

if you don't use Pass for another science class but only this chemistry class, it might look a little suspicious

but if it were me I'd take the pass for gen chem and retake it. if you are not confident you will do well on the second time, just take the C
