Should I quit my MA job for a nonhealth related jobs??

I am currently working as a MA getting for around 7 months now (around 1k hour total). The job is fine however, I want to make more money before I go to medical school. So, I was wondering if it is a good idea to switch my job to work as a food chemist or cometic chemist?

Note: I am planning to apply to this cycle with a 500ish mcat. I am also doing this as a backup to gain more experience in the field of research incase something goes wrong and I don't get into any schools.

I would apply for everything including other clinical jobs and see what pays the most. 1k hours is most likely substantive enough.

I would definitely go for a job with higher pay after you apply/get an acceptance imo.
