For the MCAT, are students expected to know how spectrometers work to produce NMR, IR, mass spec, and UV output for analysis? Or is focusing on analysis the focus for the test?
mass spec is good to know for understanding how electric fields and magnetic fields work together. I had passage on NMR for berkeley review in the physics magnetism questions. and UV i would know for the frequency of spring. they all relate to physics! so i would know them
