Staffing Job Security

I"m thinking of taking a three month staffing position at a reservation. After the gig is up, I'm a little worried about the next gig, as in, will there be one? I don't mind some down time, whether it's a few weeks or so, but I'd like to keep a somewhat regular schedule, like 10 months out of 12 or so. The company is RhOnTheGo.
I am licensed in three states.

Anyone have any staffing experience and how regular the work was, how long the downtime between gigs? My job is permanent, but part time and stagnating, but I'd rather have it than nothing.

It depends on the demand from the staffing agency's partners. Like I said, the down time isn't consistent, and it’s all about the requirements. I signed up with CareerStaff MSP and my down times haven't been too much because they have good partners.
