Strategy for Re-takers??????

I'm retaking the MCAT in September for the third time T____T (once for the old MCAT and once for the new one already) and I've finished reading TPR for content review. Just did a kaplan FL today and scored 501. I plan on doing a FL every week (buying NS and EK FLs), reviewing it and doing additional practice from KA, and AAMC materials. This is almost the same pattern as I've done the last time I've taken the MCAT...

What are strategies for re-takers?? I want to hear from anyone, but especially re-takers. >_<

{The breakdown of my last MCAT was a 509 with a very low verbal score...so I'll be doing lots of CARS practice, but I'm not seeing much progress}

how were you scoring on your practice exams before the actual 509 score?

How low verbal are we talking? You can increase rapidly from the 123-127 range but 128 (90th) percentile and higher becomes much more difficult.

Yeh I got 123 before and i want something like 127+

What was your VR on the old mcat?

You should find a tutor, someone with experience with the VR/CARS section of the MCAT. I think a 127 is definitely within reach.
