This may be a silly question, but I'm going to ask anyway. Do students with pets take any extra precautions to make sure you're not bringing home any unwanted "stuff" to your pets?
I'm working in a wildlife center now, and some of the animals I've been working with have suspected mange. I've been changing out of my clothes immediately and washing them, as well as showering right away when I get home to keep my kitties healthy.
Something I was thinking about the other day. Just putting it out there. Obviously not so much a concern in lectures so much as labs and clinicals.
Do they give you any advice on this?
