Hi guys. For various reasons (including beginning a research year in July), I am considering taking Step 2 CK in June of 2010. Unfortunately this means that I'd be taking it without family medicine. However, at my school we have 8 weeks of ambulatory experience divided between adults and kids in addition to our normal 4 weeks of family medicine. Would I be at a huge disadvantage in omitting family medicine? By June I'll have already had this ambulatory clerkship plus medicine, surgery, obgyn, peds, neuro, and psych. I'm hoping for around a 230 or so on CK - not just to pass given my 216 on Step 1.

Thanks!

Should be no problem.
