Coursework & Fieldwork Textbooks - editions

I didn't have this problem in undergrad, but now that I have my book list for the MOT program, I'm curious as to how many of you used the actual current edition required by the school or just bought the previous edition? I don't want to compromise anything academically, but I'm also paying out of pocket so open to all suggestions
