there will be "analyse the abstract" and "read the drug company advertisement" type questions now.

It begins Aug 3 as well as the score delay. I confirmed with NBME via phone on 2 separate days with 2 separate representatives. Aug 1 and 2 will be the same. Also, it differs from site to site. A lot of the places do the transfer Aug 3, but some do it later.

Took it on the 4th. The drug add questions I thought were really easy, feelling more like an exercise of common sense rather than anything too crazy. The abstract questions were a little more involved but if you've ever read a research abstract before and know how to make sense of basic biostatistics, it's not that bad.

My strategy was to complete the block and look at those questions at the end, as I didn't feel like sacrificing a lot of time on something new. Interestingly enough, usmleworld had a couple of the abstract type of questions in the q bank as of last Monday's update, so I'll give them credit...I've always felt uworld was worth the money.

Also, on the sections that you get these questions, you only do 42 questions instead of 44, so you get a little more time.
