Hi folks...

I was wondering if the Seniors had any specific tips for folks starting their Fellowship later this July? Any specific things that we need to read or practice prior to taking calls for the 1st time as a Cardiology Fellow?

Would really appreciate your inputs.

1) Pick up a copy of "The Echo Manual" by Jae Oh to understand the different echo views
2) Look up some you-tube videos / websites on the different angiographic views and which vessels are which in the different views
3) If you have time go through some of the ACC pocket guidelines, depending on which rotations you'll be starting first. i.e. ICD indications, Afib for EP, etc.

enjoy your life if possible. you'll learn all the cardiology you need in fellowship.
