Some are getting several IVs and some 1-2 IVs only.

What do you think now if it is late to expect more IVs? Or there are still chances?

Is it late now to apply for more programs? Thanks.

Your question is a bit vague to answer directly. Much depends on how many programs you have applied to, how many rejections you've received, the field you are applying to, whether your application is complete, IMG vs USMG, etc.

In general, it is still very early in the application process.

I'm interested in this subject too.

I am a UK graduate (2004) and worked as a physician in the UK until 2006, when I moved to the US. I have 4 US LORs, and submitted all the necessary paperwork to ERAS on Sept 20th. I am ECFMG certified (scores 84/87/cs pass) and a US Resident.

I applied to 32 programs in IM and FM, all in FL and Houston. So far I've only been invited to one interview in UT Houston (FM) and one in Daytona Beach (FM too) and one rejection from Baylor Houston (FM).

I hmmmed and haaaa'd about whether to apply for more programs until today when I went ahead and applied to 5 more programs in Emergency medicine in FL today ( I use to be an ER physician in London).

I dont know whether it was too late to apply for the EM programs, but I thought that it was better to try than to not. Just contact the programs before and see whether they are still looking at applications.
