To UCLA and UCSF applicants who have not taken psych classes.

I posted a similar message a couple weeks ago but got no response so i'll try again!
I read that both ucla and ucsf require one psychology class. Is this an absolute mandatory prereq or is it just suggested?
The reason i'm asking is because i graduated last year and never took one psych class.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

hmmm.......i applied to both schools and received secondary apps from them....but i've never heard from them ever since......not even a rejection!!!

maybe it had to do with the fact that i did not take any psyche classes...oh well.
