Hello
I just took #2 topscore practice test and had a question about mRNA.
The question was " Translation of mRNA occurs primarily at?"
I picked cytoplasm but the answer is ribosome.
I read the campbell biology text book it says
"The sites of translation are ribosomes, complex particles that facilitate the orderly linking of amino acids into polypeptide chains." but then the next paragraph goes "Transcription occurs in the nucleus and mRNA is then transported to the cytoplasm, where translation occurs"
Can you clarify this for me? For some reason, I'm very confused!!
Thank you.
