Hey guys,

I am new to SDN so please bear with me. I did not match EM last year and scrambled into a TRI position (probably due to late app and not enough interviews). I have decided to go for IM. After weeks of data gathering, I still feel very much in the dark about where I stand. My stats are below.

COMLEX: 595 and 510
USMLE: 233 and 227
1 publication, lots of volunteering in the past, and decent amount of leadership experience.
If you want to know anything else, please ask. :)

I want to be in NYC and am much more interested in the MD IM programs than the DO ones. I've looked at the match data, researched SDN heavily, and asked some friends who matched what their scores where. But finding information about reapplying as a TRI has been difficult. Any thoughts or input about my chances? Or perhaps some success stories?

I plan on kicking butt during the year, getting good LORs, and applying broadly. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
