Tufts Dental-Boston Housing and Commuting Recommendations

Hello, I am incoming D1 at Tufts and no nothing about Boston. Looking for advice on cheaper suburb areas that i can commute from.

Also not a priority, but i would like to bring my car and be able to drive for groceries and bulk shop at Costco lol.

There is a subway stop at Tufts Medical Center for the Orange Line so living in a community near an orange line stop can make sense.
