anyone know how long it usually takes to hear back?

Wondering about the same. Also, any other journals to send papers on QA/setup errors/RadOnc workflow?

Generally it's about 4-5 weeks to hear back the first time. With revisions could be anywhere from 1-4 weeks.

Other journals include TCRT, R&O (the open access one, not the green journal), JMIRO, and then Med Phys, Med Dosim, J Med Phys, Phys Med Bio.

Everything's getting harder IMO.

My experience was 12 weeks to first decision. The manuscript was only "under review" for about 1 week. It was "with editor" for about 2 months initially but afterwards things turned over quickly. This was also during the holiday season.
