I was wondering if anyone knows how the alternate list works at pritzker, how may students are placed on the list and how many are eventually accepted.......

I don't know the specifics - someone else will have to fill you in, but basically half of the people on the alternate list are selected for the waiting list, while the other half are obviously rejected. This happens sometime in late April. The number of students who eventually get off the waiting list differs every year. They usually estimate it at around 20-25. Last year's SDN threads indicate that a lot less were taken off last year (only a few people or something), so it's really up in the air.
