Hello,
I plan on applying to UIC GPPA next cycle, and was wondering if I could get an approximation with my stats.
GPA: 3.6UW/4.6W (Strong upwards curve)
AP Classes: AP Bio, AP Chem, AP Language, AP Literature, AP Euro, AP Stats, AP Psych, AP Physics(All A's)
ACT: 33
Shadowing: 10 hours general surgeon

ECs: President of SAT Prep Club (founded myself), President of Eco Club, Aspen Challenge leader
High School medical program @ UIC COM(4 years)
Research: Did research with the Hispanic Center of Excellance at UIC (part of the College of Medicine there). Proposal was accepted and research was presented at a Higher Education Conference
Race: Hispanic/Latino

I feel like you would definitely get an interview because your volunteering, EC's, research, race, and the medical program would make you really stand out. That would overcompensate for your average classes (if you're including senior year classes)/gpa/ACT. If you do well in your interview (if they have one) then it should be an easy acceptance for you. Good luck!
