UNC OOS as a URM 3.8+ 521 MCAT

I really like UNC. Went to Duke for undergrad so I have some connection to the state. What are my chances applying out of state for UNC?

ECs are pretty good but nothing too crazy (clinical + non clinical volunteering, shadowing, gap years doing research, and published mid author in a good journal).

I know UNC OOS is incredibly hard.

Yes, but you're the type of applicant they would most likely take from OOS. That being said, do not get too attached to any one particular school before applying. Make sure you maximize your chances by applying to a reasonable number of schools, including your own state schools.
