Hi,
I am in the process of applying to colleges and I have a question. Is there a difference between a BS in Biochemistry and a BS in Chemistry with a Biochemistry Concentration?

Schools should have a course list for majors/tracks and they vary. Based off of my school, A BS in chem with a biochem track is basically the chem major courses plus extra biochem courses.

You should be able to check the school's course catalog to see what the differences are in terms of requirements. For nearly all purposes, though, the two can be considered equivalent.

There shouldn't be too much of a difference, but it is going to vary from school to school.
