I am finishing up some research and I need to find a online registry that shows whether people in my cohort died.
I am sure I have seen some rad onc researchers use this resource before. However, I am unable to reach them to ascertain which resource it is at this moment.
Can someone help please?

Make an account on http://www.ancestry.com/. I generally use that in addition to the hospital EHR. If I remember correctly, you can find mortality status if you search with SSN and name on the website

Assuming you're in the US, you need to search the Social Security Death Index. Lots of free websites with it. https://familysearch.org/search/collection/1202535 is the first one to pop up on google, it is accurate through last February.
