Does anyone know when the new USMLE First Aid Step 2 CK (9th edition) is scheduled to come out?

Probably ~2015 since the 8th version is 5 months old.

Oh, I guess they don't come out as often as Step 1 book then.. Why is it that there isn't a new version every year?

Probably because Step 2ck is more of a clinical reasoning test rather than a content/memorization test, so books like First Aid aren't as useful. And because it's less useful information, there's less to update in terms of content, format, etc.
