verbal reasoning difficulty

I was wondering if other people felt that passages got harder as the section progresses .... I just took MCAT 4 and I felt that way (missed way more toward the end), but I'm not sure if it's just because I was running out of time and trying to rush my way through. Thoughts? Is this the same on the real MCAT?

I took the real MCAT yesterday. This is not always true. It was true on the practice AAMCs for the most part, but the consensus is that yesterday the first two passages were the hardest.
