Hi, I'm hoping I can get some direction on where to look for answers. My friend who is a type 1 diabetic had hyperbaric oxygen therapy to treat a foot wound a year ago. She completed the treatment in January 2019 and had significant decrease in her vision. She had Lasix years ago and now her vision is down to -4. Her wound doctor and eye doctor haven't been able to answer if her vision is now going to stay this way or if it will improve. Searching for articles hasn't been super helpful. They mostly say this is common and patients see improvement in about a year but none say how much of an improvement or if the vision goes back to baseline before the hyperbaric chamber. She's at her wits end.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
